What is a digital seal?

Le cachet d’entreprise permet d’authentifier l’ensemble des documents administratifs.
Ce cachet peut être apposé sur tous les documents officiels de l’entreprise. Il peut par exemple s’agir de devis, factures ou tout autre document professionnel sur lequel on doit pouvoir identifier l’entreprise.

La dénomination 'cachet électronique' requiert par défaut de répondre aux critères "avancé ou avancé avec certificat qualifié" avec les mêmes principes que pour la signature électronique.
The use of an electronic seal (advanced, qualified certificate) rather than an electronic stamp (simple) depends on the value that one wishes to give to the sealed document. Documents deemed sensitive or of high value may be specifically subject to an advanced seal with or without a qualified certificate.
